Janus fibers were obtained by photopolymerization under microfluidic conditions using a side-by-side capillary-based device by the PMC and PECMAT teams. The composition and the size of each part of these Janus fibers can be easily controlled allowing the modulation of their mechanical properties. Amphoteric Janus fibers were prepared and used to remove positively and negatively charged dyes exhibiting superior performances as compared to single fibers. This work was published in Chemical Communications.
