Hello!
My name is Thomas Ferri and I am a PhD student working with the CNRS at the ICS building, I am a participant of the Marie Curie (MSCA) European fellowship program.
My office is located at the first floor of the building, room F.143.
I'm a theoretical physicist with a particular focus on statistical mechanics and soft matter. My PhD thesis is titled "Advanced models for the quantitative interpretation of membrane reflectivity data" and I will be working on the development of a new method to numerically simulate supported lipid bilayers with or without charges. My PhD thesis supervisor is Prof. Fabrice Thalmann.
I graduated from "La Sapienza" University of Rome at the end of September 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Sciortino.
You can use my University (thomas.ferri@etu.unistra.fr) or ICS-CNRS email to contact me :)
